You need to be an Administrator or Project Manager to be able to assign users to different boards. Only registered users in the account can be assigned to Projects and Boards.
1. How to assign a user to a Board?
To assign a user to a board, follow these steps:
1.1. Click on "Administration" at the top right side of your screen to open the Administration panel.
1.2. Go to the Board Assignees tab (Image 1)
1.3. Choose a project and a board from the drop-down menu.
1.4. Select the user you want to assign to the board from the "Non-members of the Board" panel.
1.5. Click on "Assign users" and the system will prompt you to select a User Role -> define a role and the user will be added to the "Members of the board" panel.
Note: User roles are provided per board, which means that users can have different roles on different boards depending on their responsibilities.
When someone creates a board, regardless of their own user role, they are automatically assigned as a Project Manager to this board.
2. How to unassign а user from a board?
2.1. Go to the "Members of the Board" panel in the Board Assignees tab.
2.2 Select the user you want to unassign.
2.3 Click on Unassign users ->and the user will be added to the "Non-Members of the board" panel. (Image 2)
3. How to change user role of a board assignee?
3.1 Go to the Board Assignees tab of the Administration panel.
3.2 Choose the project and the board from the drop-down menu and go to the "Members of the Board" panel to the right. (Image 3)
3.3 Click on the edit icon (the pencil) that belongs to every user.
3.4 Choose the new user role from the drop-down menu and click on the green check mark to save the changes.
