1. How to create card type?
You need to have administrative privileges or to be a Project Manager of a project to be able to manage types in your projects.
You can use types to categorize your tasks.
Tasks may have different types i.e. "Bug", "Meeting", "Customer Request" etc. -> this way each card falls under a category name.
Types are created and added on a project basis.
1.1 To create card type click on the Project Settings icon - the dotted menu that belongs to every project on your dahsboard-> select Manage Types.
1.2 In the Types tab of the Project and Board Settings panel you can add types and assign them to any project. Click on "Add New Type" button to create a new type.
2. How to configure a new card type?
Click on the image icon below "Add New Type" to open a list of icons that you can use. Choose a relevant icon and input the name of the new type you want to create. The type description is optional.
Click on the check mark sign to add the type.
3.How to assign a type to your card?
Use the card type field of a new or existing card and select the type from the dropdown list.
Note: To change the card type, you can either use the same navigation and choose a new type or click on the card's type icon of the closed card view and select a new type from the dropdown menu.
4. How to edit existing type?
If you want to edit the type you have created -> click on the project settings icon (dotted menu) to open the Manage Card Types menu.
Use the dotted icon of the corresponding type and select "Edit" to change the type’s icon, name or description. To copy or move a type to a different project -> select one of the corresponding icons and define a project from the list that appears to copy/move it.
Use the delete icon to remove a type.
