You can easily attach files to the Kanban card from your computer or from a cloud storage.
1. How to add an attachment?
Open the Kanban card and go to the Attachments field in the right section of the card -> click on Add file to upload a file from your computer; Dropbox; Box; Google Drive or OneDrive.
Select the file you wish to upload and click on the " Update Card" button to save the changes.
- The allowed file formats are as follows:
'bmp','jpg','jpeg','gif','png','txt','rtf','doc','docx','dotx','xls','xlsx','ppt','pptx','odt','ott','sxw','stw','ods','ots','sxc','stc','odp','otp','sxi','sti','uop','uof','pdf','rar','zip','7z','xml','csv','log','eml', 'dwg', 'mp4', 'ogg', 'dxf', 'stl', 'gz', 'tgz', '7z'.
- The allowed maximum file size is 30MB per file.
2. How to view and download attachments?
2.1 You can configure your card view to make the attachments visible on the closed card view.
To achieve that -> go to the Grid Menu (the dotted icon) at the top right side of your board interface -> select Configure Card View -> Show Attachments (as an icon or one per row). Upon configuration, the attachments will be visible at the closed card preview (see: Image 1).
2.2. To download an attachment, please open a card and go to the Attachments field -> just click on the attachment's name and the file will be downloaded to your computer.
3. How to delete an attachment?
If you want to delete an attachment -> open up the card and go to the Attachments field. To delete the file -> click on the delete icon (x-sign) to the right side of the file’s name. This action will cross out (strikethrough) the file name to show that it is not available.
Note that, you will not be prompted to confirm the action.
Once you "Update the card", the file will be permanently deleted from the card and from your Kanbanize account, but it will not be deleted from your computer if it has been downloaded.
