You can easily attach files to the Kanban card from your computer or from cloud storage.
1. How to manage attachments in the cards?
Open the Kanban card and go to the Attachments menu in the right section of the card.
Use the plus icon (+) to upload a file from your computer; Dropbox; Box; Google Drive or OneDrive.
The feature allows users to add multiple attachments:
You can use the drag & drop method (1) or the plus icon to upload multiple files at once.
The Attachments menu displays all files attached to the card (img.1).
Download: You can download attachments from a card with a single click only. Hover your mouse over the thumbnail and click Download.
Preview: The file preview option allows you to view the attachments, which saves your time and efforts. You simply click the attachment name in the card to preview the file.
Use the "Download all attachments" icon (1) to download a zip file of your attachments in a single click.
- The allowed file formats are as follows:
'bmp','jpg','jpeg','gif','png','txt','msg,'rtf','doc','docx','dotx','xls','xlsx','ppt','pptx','odt','ott','sxw','stw','ods','ots','sxc','stc','odp','otp','sxi','sti','uop','uof','pdf','rar','zip','7z','xml','csv','log','eml', 'dwg', 'mp4', 'ogg', 'dxf', 'stl', 'gz', 'tgz', '7z'.
- The allowed maximum file size is 30MB per file.
2. How to make attachments visible on the closed card view?
2.1 You can configure your card view to make the attachments visible on the closed card view.
To achieve this -> go to the sidebar at the right side of your board interface and click on the Configure Card View icon to open the Card settings panel.
In the Card settings panel -> select Show Attachments and configure the view:
icon or one per row.
When you save the changes -> the attached files will be visible at the closed card view and you can open each of them with a single click, without opening the card.
3. How to delete an attachment?
If you want to delete an attachment -> open up the card and go to the Attachments menu.
Hover over the attached file you want to remove from the card and click on the "Delete Attachments" icon.
Once you "Update the card", the file will be permanently deleted from the card.
