In Kanbanize, users can customize their card view for each board.
The Kanban card has many properties that carry different information on the task.
Every user can choose which of them remains visible when the card is closed.
You can choose between the default closed card view or the custom closed card view.
The default closed card view (Img.1 - the left card) displays the following card properties: Card ID (327790), Title (Tech description); Owner incl. avatar (Alex); Cycle time (0 days), Card Priority at the bottom right corner (green stands for Average).
The card to the right is configured to display more card details such as links, subtasks, custom fields, the task deadline, the logged time for the card, etc. It displays more information to the users, and there is no need to open the card to check for task details.
How to customize your card view?
Check out the following short video or follow the instructions below:
To customize your closed card view, go to the sidebar at the right side of your board interface and click the Configure Card View icon to open the Card settings panel.
Important: The Card configuration is applied per board.
In the Card settings menu (img.2), users can select which card properties to be displayed in their closed card view. Checkmark the properties you want to display and click Save Card Settings.
You can visualize some of the properties as an icon, full text, progress bar, or one per row. There is a preview card on the left side of the panel that instantly displays the view of the selected properties.
If you are an Account Owner or a Workspace Manager, the system will allow you to apply the card settings for all users assigned to this board via the "Apply for all users" option.
