1. How does "My Queue and Worklog" work?
The "My Queue and Worklog" feature assists your Kanbanize experience in two ways:
- You can quickly see at a glance all cards, which are assigned to you, across all boards
- You can track your logged time. You can easily check how much time was logged for each task or how much time was accumulated for: today, yesterday, this week, last week, this month, last month.
To open "My Queue and Worklog" panel, go to the sidebar located at the right side of your board and select the corresponding icon.
The default view of the panel displays all cards assigned to you across all boards in the account.
The total number of cards assigned to you is displayed at the top of the panel. All tasks are listed below.
Notes:
-> When the card deadline has passed, the card deadline timestamp gets colored. This helps users to focus on tasks, which were not completed on time and probably require immediate actions.
-> Blocked cards outstand in the panel as they get colored in red.
-> Click on a title name to open the respective card.
2. How to manage "My Queue" settings?
The gear settings icon at the top of the panel allows you to configure the information displayed in the panel. Click on it to configure your cards' queue.
Checkmark "Show boards" to better visualize the distribution of cards across the boards in your account.
Checkmark "Show sections" and select the board sections which you want to see cards from: Backlog, Requested, In Progress, Done, Ready to Archive.
You can also use the “Show cards where I am assigned as” section if you want to see cards where you are an owner, co-owner, or contributor. You will see an icon next to each card that will indicate how you have been assigned to it.
In the image below, you can see how Boards and Sections get visualized, which helps users to get better visibility of card distribution and state of completion.
Use the plus/minus icons to expand/collapse the board view in the panel.
Click the sort icon (1) to sort out the cards assigned to you by:
- color
- priority
- deadline
- blocked status.
You can choose between ascending or descending order.
(2) Refresh your results using the Refresh icon.
3. How does "My Worklog" work?
