If you would like to reply to emails via the cards created in Kanbanize from the email integration, you need to set up an SPF record.
The Sender Policy Framework (SPF) was designed to prevent fraudsters from using legitimate email addresses to send spam or other fraudulent emails. Creating an SPF record allows you to specify which servers can send emails on your behalf and helps prevent these emails from getting caught in recipients’ spam folders.
To send emails from the comment tab of the Kanbanize cards, you will need to add the following to your SPF record in order to prevent the other side spam filters to catch your email: include:mail.kanbanize.com;
Your full SPF record should look like this:
v=spf1 a mx include:mail.kanabnize.com -all
If you are having trouble setting up your SPF record, please contact your website’s domain provider for assistance. The process varies depending on your provider, so they will be your best resource for assistance.
Note: Please, contact email@example.com when you set it up and we will manually add this email address in our system in order to be valid.
