1. Introduction
The Calendar feature in Kanbanize shows you a bird's eye view of the cards to which you have applied deadlines by adjustable attributes. Clicking on an individual date will reveal all the cards that are due on that day for each user in the overall project and which section they are located in on the board (ex. Backlog, In Progress...) The calendar has an extremely flexible view filter option that comes in handy for larger projects with many users working to meet a large array of deadlines.
For easier navigation, you can apply filters for what you would like to see on the calendar at a given time.
2. How to open the Kanbanize calendar?
Go to the Board Sidebar located to the right side of each board interface, click the three dots icon, and select Calendar. From there, you can monitor all your datе-related information.
3. How does it work?
The default calendar view is set to Deadline, which means that all of the deadlines from your workflow are highlighted in the Calendar integrated with Kanbanize.
If you click on any of the dates highlighted in green, the system searches across all boards in your account and generates a list with the cards, which deadlines correspond to the selected day.

By clicking the Deadline link (img.1) at the top side of the Calendar, you can change the Deadline property with any of the following options:
(1) Regular Fileds
- Created at
- First Blocked Date
- Last Blocked Date
- Last Modified
For example: if you select the "Created at" property, the calendar view highlights all dates that correspond to new card creation. The same principle applies to the rest of the properties.
(2) Custom Fields - if you have created and added a date-related custom field to your board, it will be made available as a selection.
Note: You can also add an additional filter from the Due Date Link to show the cards which expire by day, week, or month.
4. How to make use of the calendar filter?
You can use the calendar filter to narrow down your search. As a result, the calendar view displays data relevant to specific boards or certain cards that match your requirements.
To filter your data, use the filter icon at the top side of the calendar interface.
In the Calendar Filter panel, you have to select the "Add new filter" link. The system allows you to refine your search criteria in accordance with your specific needs.
For example:
If you want to get a calendar view of cards assigned to a specific user, select the pill "Owner", then define the user and apply the filter. Similarly, you can filter the data in your account by any other criteria: board, priority, color, etc.
