Do you have any burning question about Kanban? Need some advice when setting up your board? Want to bounce off some of your concerns?
We are very excited to share with you a brand new project that we'll be working on with our partners at Xuviate!
Xuviate is a digital transformation company focused on helping IT leaders of mid-sized companies to achieve more by implementing a holistic individual approach including consulting, coaching, and tooling. As a complementary component to this approach, they lead the eXpander series - video interviews with influencers, managers, and consultants discussing hot topics in the IT world and providing valuable insights. As part of this series, we are happy to co-host with them four Lean Coffee style live webinars to discuss all your questions on Kanban. We're happy for the opportunity to learn about your concerns, so please share them with us!
We're excited to have Mathias Tölken, Co-Founder & COO of Xuviate hosting the series and contributing to the discussion with his experience as an IT professional, Lean/ Agile/ Digital Transformation/ business technology management consultant, engineer, operational executive, entrepreneur and business leader.
For this first episode, our topic will be "Kanban for IT leaders in mid-sized businesses" and Dimitar Karaivanov, CEO of Kanbanize, will be a special guest and topic expert. Dimitar is a speaker, author, Lean thinker, and Portfolio Kanban practitioner and enthusiast. He will give practical examples and advice for each problem you encounter, so don't miss the opportunity to use his expertise and learn as much as possible!
Due to the format, we still have no idea about the actual agenda on the day but we do suspect to see some of the following questions up-voted for inclusion:
- What is Kanban? Just a different way of "Getting Things Done"?
- I want to try Kanban in my IT department but don't know how to start. Can you help?
- What are the most common mistakes IT leaders make when first implementing Kanban?
- When should I choose an electronic tool like Kanbanize instead of a physical Kanban board?
- Is limiting WIP (Work in Progress) really that important?
- What is this "pull" that everybody keeps talking about?
- I struggle with adoption. What can I do to get momentum?
It is our goal to answer as many important questions as possible within the one hour we have. You can tweet your comments by using our handles - @xuviate and @KanbanizeInc or the hashtag #leancoffeekanbanize!
